Library Catalog

Location

The business and economics books are part of Social Sciences . They are located in H section in the Library Basement.

How to Search the Catalog

In the Panitza Library Catalog you can search for books, periodicals, reserve materials, non-print materials.

Enter the author's name in reverse order in the search box. Example: Brown Dan (capitalizing and coma not necessary)

Title Search

Enter the title or part of it. If the title starts with an article, try finding it in both ways. Example: The European Dream (capitalization not necessary)

Subject Search

Enter just one subject term in the search box. Example: econometrics (capitalizing not necessary)

Call Number Search

An alphanumeric code, which indicates the location of the books on the shelves. Example: HC240.R54 2004 (capitalization not necessary)

Journal Title Search

Enter a title of a journal. If the title starts with an article, try finding it in both ways. Example: Columbia Journalism Review (capitalization not necessary)

Keyword Search                                                                                                                                                                        

Search by entering one keyword or a combination of keywords.

Heading Keyword Search
It lets you search for keywords within headings found in bibliographic records. Subject Heading Search After entering a subject you will be shown an alphabetical list of Subject headings related to the entered keyword.


Reserve Search
A Reserve Search lets you search for items on placed reserve by either the instructor's name or the course number, or reserve title. Example: Phillips, Robert or POS212 or Foreign policy analysis
