Book renewal

When you still need the book after the due date, you can renew it in case nobody else has requested it.

Book request

Requesting a book is when a material that you want to take has already been checked out by someone else and you want to be the next in line to read it. To see how to do that, watch the My Account video tutorial.

Information Literacy

A program teaching Library users how to:

• become aware of information, as it exists in its different formats: print, electronic, etc.;
• locate and use Library materials;
• evaluate the information they find;
• search the Library online catalog and databases;
• select the most appropriate investigative methods or information retrieval systems.

You are more than welcome to schedule individual training on any topic related to the Library, its resources, and the research process. Just contact us.

Reference Services

You can use our Reference Services if you need help location and using information and resources for your research and assignments.

You can contact our Reference librarians in person at the Reference Desk (on the Library Ground floor), electronically via email or through the Reference Request Form, by phone (+359 73 888 341) or through the chat widget at the home page of the Library website.

Off-Campus Access

Off-campus access allows you to access all library electronic resources and databases from anywhere in the world. You can find instructions on how to do that here.

If you have any trouble accessing the databases remotely, please contact us via chat or at libmail@aubg.edu.

Suggest a Book

Feel free to suggest books or other library material for purchase. You can do that by filling out the electronic form, the print forms on the Library Ground floor, or email to the Acquisitions librarian.

Printing & Scanning

The Printing Room is located on the Library Ground floor between the entrance door and the Circulation Desk. The room provides a black-and-white and color printer, four computers, as well as a scanner. You can also print your papers from any computer in the building and pick them up from the Library Printing Room.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) acquires books, book chapters, copies of journal articles, conference papers, etc. not owned by Panitza Library. The service is free of charge only for limited users – faculty and senior students, with certain restrictions on the number of the free ILL borrowings. All other users of the service are required to pay part of the cost of each request. You can request an ILL via the electronic form or contact the Interlibrary Loan Librarian via email at ill@aubg.edu or abarzachka@aubg.edu, via phone at +359 73 888 341 or at the Circulation Desk.
